Deuteronomy 1-2

Deuteronomy actually means “second law” because it is the second time Moses gave the people of Israel God’s commands. Moses was reminding the Israelites about God’s great character and the amazing works He had done for them.
Deuteronomy can be a challenging book, but try to imagine yourself listening to an old man who has walked with God for a long time. He is talking to you about things he wants you to remember about God.
