Joshua 5-8

When I read of God’s burning anger toward sin and His seemingly extreme measures to keep men from it, I realize I don’t take sin seriously. In these chapters we see God dealing with people who don’t obey His gracious commands, and it’s not a pretty picture.
But in the same passage we see a glimpse of the coming Savior who will rescue men from their rebellion and its horrible consequences and who will reunite men to God in a perfect relationship.
