Joshua 1-4

What causes fear? What prevents it? What are you afraid of?
At the beginning of this historical book we find a man who has many reasons to fear. His boss (the guy who rescued his people from horrible slavery) has just died; he is now the leader of 1 million+ people; he is supposed to lead that horde into a land crawling with hostile enemies. To make matters more complicated his people don’t know how to fight and the country they are invading is filled with professional soldiers. Talk about reasons to fear!
But God comes tells this man, Joshua, not to fear. Read chapters 1-4 to find out why. Here are the questions for this week, and here is the preview for the book.
